The best source for Tweed cloth (not simulated Tweed Tolex).

I won a D-Lab Amps Fender 5F1 Champ type amp kit in a drawing and want to cover it in Lacquered Tweed.

Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers!

Both actually...

Lots of disagreement on which glue(s) to use and lacquer vs. Poly vs. Shellac.

Cheers!

Shoot me an e-mail and I'm going to refer you to the best "tweed man" I know. He'll give you the best advice around regarding application, sealing, and grain/pattern matching.

There's the right way to do it -- the way Sam Hutton insisted on.

Then there's all other methods.
