Some people are saying the rubber feet can react with the finish so I threw a towel down on the 212 cab to protect it for now. Maybe I can make some little doilies for the feet so I can show off the beautiful wood. I wish I had a cover for it too because I am going up North to a 50th Class reunion. I have the Super sonic cover I can throw on the amp loosely but only a moving blanket for the 212 for now.

Thanks Mud! And GTG ! My voice is a little scratchy now with allergies at this time of year.

Had a hum that was driving me nuts trying to find it. Was quiet as long as I was playing but very noisy when my hands were not on the guitar. Tried everything I could to find it. Changed a few grounds and reflowed solder and still the same. Finally I plugged a receptacle test light into the shop receptacles-- Open Ground, tested RV service box receptacle where the shed is plugged into and that was good. Pulled the covers in shed and the receptacles and sure enough grounds were twisted and wire nutted without ground to the Green receptacle screws. Fixed that and much better now. So I was changing things in the chassis to no avail!

That Tele have single-pole pickups? Prolly picking up flurorescent lights or something. That the capacitance of your hand is cancelling out.

Try turning light off and see if hum is better.

BTW... nice video. :)

Wide body HH and I have it solved now, Open Ground in receptacles of shop. Lights do not effect it. I do have a big Microwave tower behind us about 400-500 yards too. That I think is effecting all my other amps since moved here last fall. At the other house all were quiet. This new amp is as quiet as they are and in fact quieter than the older 5e3 I built in 2014. That one was dead quiet at the other house.
