yea I saw that also and its close so I'm gonna sleep on it a couple of days... I just started playing about 6 months ago, got a basic blues shuffle in E and A down a couple of turnarounds... but am enjoying it!. restoring an amp sounds intimidating... but how else to learn??

OK, just wanted to make sure you at least saw that also. There is a pig & hog pair offered also very reasonable price; should you decide to jump on the Concert they would make an excellent practice amp during the rebuild of the Concert.
I don't have the tools on hand to do the work, so my upfront cost would be higher than if I had the tools. Otherwise, I would make the drive for the Concert. It checks most of the blocks of what I want as an amp project.
But if it's still there when I get my IRS refund, I might have to buy it and piece together the funds for the tools and parts to get it up and running. Of course, I would still have to rely on the forum experts here to get it done right.

Well I sure hope somebody buys it and restores it! Everything that needs to be there is, a very worthy project.

+1, I don't think it will be there long.
T2, Yours is an exceptional rebuild....

Thanks! It was fun, I learned much, and tried to pass it on by posting the refurb here on the forum.

I see you didn't score the Concert, but hope someone who is going to restore it stops in here. Whoever got it dang near stole it for $650.

Actually, it may not have sold. I'm not very familiar w/ CL, the notice I saw said the add was being removed($750 price tag). It got relisted twice at $650 and is still posted.

It is still posted and now down to the $650...quite a steal! Yes looks like it was relisted with a price change! Should offer him $550 cash and see if he jumps! The ad is below for anyone in the area, not that I am advocating selling here, just posting an amp that needs to be rescued and refurbed!

Eric wishes he had that much saved up to offer the guy. :(
I will have about $400 to play with come Friday and I need to buy a DVM and a bias rig. I am going to an estate sale also; looking at some tubes/maybe a tester, if they are still there.
