Ran across this amp for sale 62' fender concert 4x10 Brownface. Seller says it works but needs some work,is asking $750. I have to do more research on it but my question is. is it worth the investment? Also how can I post some pics ?

A "diamond in the rough" for $750?

Definitely worth the price!

Definitely.

Great find! Brownface for only 1962 through mid 63? I'd imagine the tone is somewhat similar to the Super Reverb (without the reverb). Add a stand alone Reverb Unit --- Hmm... Good potential, there.

Have any photos? Thanks!

MM, are you in San Antone? I saw a Craigslist add for a 62' Concert for $750..if'in its that one, its a fair price considering the condition. Missing all the tolex, the bare wood looks like its been exposed for a time, but not beyond repairable. Not one of the local experts, but it looks good to me, fwiw....

No i'm not sure, it was more of a question to the op. This is my disclaimer, "Not one of the local experts, but it looks good to me, fwiw...."
But if it is the amp in question, do you think its " Run to buy it or give me the adress of the seller" ?
If it is, then you have pictures and he doesn't have to post them. If not, my bad.
I did use some slang though (if'in) = if it is.....

yea that's the one, not in san antone but close in Corpus Christi.... I know it's a project,, anyway it's a public add so it's still up for sale as far as I know...as far as my situation I can buy the amp... but the restoration may take me a while... debate is buy an amp I can play now... or buy and restore as I can....

Well neighbor,
I figured it was, how many 62 concerts for sale could there be!
I'm no expert as I said; but I still believe it's a decent buy for a project. Probably have to put 5-700 into it to get it near right not counting your taste in tubes. Probably a little less if you shop around, all the transformers are good and you can do the repairs w/o having to buy tools.

You probably saw the add then for the 72' Twin in the Bluff, again just my opinion but that is/was a good deal also. Don't know if its still listed.

Obviously I'm lookin for a project myself, just don't have the cash just yet to start. I'm more looking for a new guitar w/ humbuckers right now anyhow instead of an amp project.

Well I sure hope somebody buys it and restores it! Everything that needs to be there is, a very worthy project.

And if I can turn this:

Into this:

Then anyone can.
