Hello everyone. Last week I went pawnshop-swapmeet and garage sale hunting. I found a nice amplifier. It says fender musical instruments on the face of the amp (where the controllers are at), it has a foot switch and two channels named A and B. On the back it has a headphones and speaker in and out....at the right end it has a sticker with a serial number (it is white) 104821 with sks letters also (it says sidekick switcher around the same area). It is 80W and the transformer has a F-31UC engraved.
The problem is that the channel jack is busted, it is a double jack (one piece) and my local service-repair guy (not official by the way) cant seem to find the piece.
Can anybody help me date this amp? Does anybody know what amp is this (was there ever a sidekick switcher)? Is it worth the trouble to fix it?
Any assitance is greatly appreacited.

Erick

channel jack is busted? do you mean the jack for switching effects on and off? here's my suggestion: glue the little thing with epoxy or crazy glue. then play it. simple, yes?

If you post some pics that would be quite helpful to us.

Hey guys, thanks for the tips.... Already found a corageous tech that engaged in repairing the thing, could not found the part, yet it did had to be replaced (crazy glue did not work, although it was worth the try). He did a simple tech stuff that I would not understand, problem is that instead of two inputs I am stuck only with one, but I can change to the "drity" channel with the footswitch.

Appreciate the help
