Have a 1969 3/4 Mustang (not competition) that my husband bought 2nd hand a few years ago. The guy he bought it off had a custom paint job doing professionally to a blue colour (although we don't know what the original colour was) we are looking to sell it and have no idea of a value for it. One of the keys is bent and been fixed with putty (so basially needs to be replaced) all the parts are original but we cant find anything to compare it to online, we dont have the original case.
Thanks for your help!
Can supply pics don't know how to do it via the forum

Thanks for the reply and help! My husband bought it in South Africa 15+ years ago off a guy who had had it since new and played it when he was in a band over there and it has been stored by his parents and we brought it back to the UK on our recent trip over

To determine a value, you compare it to original condition. I have attached a 68 and a 69 for you to compare yours to. Note the difference in tuners, decal, pickups, bridge, controls, etc.

Ouch! That poor Mustang has really been totally butchered. Any value it might have is in the neck and neck plate as replacement parts for someone's project. The body is basically a dollars worth of firewood.

I hate to be negative, but I am not even sure about the neck. No decal, wrong tuners, wrong frets, wrong nut - in crooked.

If there is an upside, it would be that it sounds good and is fun to play. Beyond that, unfortunately, I see little value.

I don't see many original parts on that Mustang bass. Bridge, pickups controls, control plate, pickguard, tuners and finish and neck decal have all been changed with replacement parts or eliminated.

I would value that bass at about 250 Euros on a good day. It may be restorable, but it would require a large investment in original parts to put it back to what it was originally.

Good luck with it.
