I'm fairly sure it's a Jazz, but I dunno.

Question? How are you going to get a brand name with out looking @ the headstock? The pic is grainy. It's a Jazz bass, but it could be a Jbass copy.

There was an interview on what bass he currently is using, and he said Fender.

It dosnt look like a jazz bass to me. It has no inlays on the neck, the pickgaurd is all one piece, and it has strange nobs on it.

it could be a signature bass. that would partly excuse the lack of inlays and connected pickguard.

but since the bass is clearly from Japan, there will definitely problems when you try to buy it. Fender USA and Fender Japan have this thing about buying each others' products when your overseas.

^^ That's true, but u can always chk Ebay Japan. I know someone here that has an Jbass Aerodyne non import (Japanese Market only), I think he got it off Ebay Japan.
