Hey everyone, another question about the Fender Kingman bass.Does anyone know if there is a proper sound hole cover for this bass. I bought a cover and it didn't fit, even with modification...is there a different sized hole for acoustic basses as compared to acoustic guitars I'm wondering. Thanks a Bunch!

Never heard of one, and why would you want one? You could just get a roll of gaffer's tape and tape over it if you're getting a lot of feedback at live shows. Otherwise just use a solid body Fender elcetric bass guitar. I wish they made lefty Kingman as I'd love to have one.

That is a good question ravenous. I have a BG-29 and had a hell of a time getting a soundhole cover to fit that thing. It's in there but it's not something I change out often just because it's such a tight fit.

Gaffer's tape? Hadn't thought of that I guess linnin. However I still get a little feedback rumble with that BG-29 even with the soundhole cover in place.

I remember having a hard time finding an oval soundhole cover for my Fender Montara as well. It's a Guild one and I had to do a little custom trimming around the neck but that fits better then a standard one in the BG-29.

Thanks you guys! I've tried the tape once before on my Ferrington, it just blew the tape off. I'm going to have to keep looking around and check other mfgrs. covers too! The reason for the cover, is so that I can be in front of my 2x10 on stage with a minimum of feedback. It's areal joy to play, and it sounds beautiful! Cheers!
