Hello to you all and thanks for the help !... Very nice pics (expecially Gibson EB...)

Bad news unfortunately: Fender 5250xl strings DOES NOT FIT the Mustang, these strings are too short... So, waste of time and money...

Frankly, I can not understand why Fender states on its website that Mustang Bass mounts these strings as stock, for sure, the strings on the retail box are not the same as the stock strings from the factory and, then, I remain of the opinion that for this bass, with the exception of medium scale gauges, strings should be the same as for long scale basses, actually i've re-strung my Mustang with a set of D'addario that fits nicely (except for the sound that I do not like ...)

So, that said: i would like to find a warm tone set of strings with 95/75/60/40 gauge or similiar, not flats.... Did you have some tips for me ? Nickel or Stainless Steel ?

What to do think about these: ROTOSOUND RB40 040/100 (Nickel) ROTOSOUND RS66LC 0.40/0.95 (Stainless Steel)

Thank you very much for your patience ;-)
