Hi.

I wonder if I could get some advice please.I have a Telecaster Neck its dated 23feb 73 b 1 I am selling it as ,It came off a jazz believe it or not.Im just wondering how much to ask for it.It is in good condition with working truss rod .It has a brass nut fitted 25 years ago.One thing is though it has Fender Lollypop keys which i dont recall seeing elsewhere. They are old and stamped with the fender logo.

I know its hard without pictures any clues as to how much to ask for .Is it better to sell Lolly keys separate ? any ideas re price would be appreciated ,any info on the keys too.Thanks.

Is it a 3 bolt or 4 bolt attachment?

Where are you located? Value is very dependent on your country of origin.

A Tele bass neck would not normally fit on a Jazz or a P bass body unless the body is routed to fit the neck. The heel of the Tele is squared off and P and J's are not. Maybe it's an aftermarket neck= pics would be good.

The neck and those tuners, which may be original to the neck, are very valuable stateside. I have no idea what the current value is for a '69 Telecaster bass in England and I hesitate to start throwing out numbers because I always feel that value is dependent in a number of factors: Location, demand timing and the item condition.

I know that a 1969 Telecaster bass is worth about $3,000 in the Eastern US, depending on condition. In England I would guess it may be 50% more or say 3000 pounds.

A neck will be very valuable to the guy with a late 60's Telecaster bass body, but not so much to the casual player who may be looking for a 60's Fender but may not be sure about a neck by itself.

Good luck with your deal.
