I picked one up today- the serial# starts with "13" so I assume it's a 2013. Right?
Anyone familiar or have one of these-? The tone/volume layout- pots have center detent- I'm kind of sure what's what but - I'm a little unsure----

I got the bass used- no case- no candy etc- I'd really like to know exactly what each knob does-- I'll try a search on here but any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm impressed with the sound and the bass is very light. It's CA Red.

Amazing what Squier is putting out. The only bass that has gotten a bad rap, deservedly so, is the VM Modified Fretless. I played a bunh and didn't play one decent one. Glad Bebe came along.

This will cause some interest==== the neck is the same or very close to the same as the Geddy Lee-- look out I feel a stampede coming at GC.

My Squier Telecaster neck is almost identical to my Precision;s, which is the sweetest fretted neck I own. Now that I think about it, the Squier was bad rapped for a think neck, while it's maple, size wise, it's virtually the same as the Precision, which has a rosewood neck.

None come with case candy! Unless of course you order it from Sweetwater and then it comes with box candy! LMAO!

Anyway yeah it is a 2013.

Thanks Dave- I thought it was- wanted to make sure. I'm tweeking the neck and setting it up. I'm pleased with the bass. It doesn't sound exactly like a P or a J but the 3 band eq adjusts for some decent tone. The bass is so light, it can't be more than 8 lbs.- Yeah the neck is a Jazz neck. Me and my music buddies agree that the Squier line of basses and guitars has come a long way . I saw a factory relic type Squier Strat with the gold anodized guard at the place where I got the Jag.

UPDATE EVEN IF NOONE CARES- The bass is staying here. Just no way I can't use it. Oxfan knows- just ask him. We will be celebrating new basses for the next 8.5 days then I don't know what we'll do but it will be good none the less. Please join in !!!!
