$169 and added to my wishlist

Eventhough I already have a ZOOM B3 with some excellent effects plus DSP amps & USB direct digital recording capability, the Orbital Modulator kills in the total tone department. I don't think I've ever heard such thick; rich, and flat out lush chorus or flange effects. Even compared to much more expensive studio rack mount gear. Mmmmm Momma! :D

Seems like a good unit. I don't use much effects on bass anymore but I used to use a chorus and envelope filter. Seems this unit can do that a lot better and more. The problem I had with these floor effects is all the bottom would drop out when the effect was on so I had to bi-amp and run a clean direct out in tandem with the effect to compensate.

Of course the Source Audio vid is an info-mercial to show off their box in the best possible light & sound, but it is designed for electric bass guitar from the get go and it's "Lo Retain" feature is noteworthy. The bottom is clearly there with plenty of definition. No Mud. It's pretty useful for any type of Progressive Jazz/Rock Fusion or straight up Funk.
