Ok guys i am torn between the Jag and the Jazz Bass 24 which one would you reccomend how is your experience with the bass?

Ok, I know the Jag has cool features, cool look, but it doesn't do it for me. The 24 has let's move forward with a classic look to it. I personally would go with the 24, I know it looks like everything else Fender has out there but kinda have a sleeper look.

it depens of what kind of music do you play!!
a 24 bass is usefull to play any kind of professional music, it depends too of your bass level!! a jagbass will peculiar a 24 fender bass is unic and original

well i play rock and funk and alternative rock but i like the sounds of active basses because i like both jazz and p-bass sounds but they both are soo good.

^^ weren't you complaining about the price of the Duff sig bass? Now you're selling your used bass for over US$900? Rip off! J/K :) Good luck on selling that.

Back on topic...the 24 is nice, the quilt top is marvelous, the actives - well, that just give you more head room for tonal adjustability(I know, the Jag has active/passive switch). As far as being unique, how many 24's are out there compared to the Jags? Try 'em both, see which one you like better. I told you what I think b4.

by teh kind of music may be is better a jag bass but remember that by the time toy will improve so the jazzbass is special for tappingand slap... it have a slap switch!!! so is your desicion!!

I luv my jag bass, even though I really don't like Fender. Really. As in, you might say I hate Fender. Since you're already a Fender fan, I'd say base your decision on if you're addicted to chrome like me. Appearance is everything.
