I have had the Mustang 1 for about 5 months. It is my only amp. Since last night, the only sound it makes is a loud buzzing. I have tried plugging different instruments into it (korg monotron, yamaha ypg-235, epiphone les paul), and i have tried using 3 different cables. All combinations produce the exact same result.

I have had this problem before, however before now it would stop if I adjusted the cable slightly. Now all that happens when I do that is the loud buzzing or total silence. I have already tried tightening the jacks, using the other end of the cable, etc. Nothing works.

Suggestions?

Try a guitar cable that works on both ends. :D

Is it new?

The fact that you have tried different instruments caused me to delete my first post. I have had that issue with older, well played, MIJ Fender basses, but it was always the bass that was at issue.

The problem was always some dirt, but mainly corrosion inside the bass output jack. A little Brasso on a Q-Tip worked miracles with just a couple minutes of gentle cleaning.

So, if your amp is older, perhaps it is a similar issue inside the input jack? Don't know, but the issue sounds really similar. Clean contacts are always a plus, and since you have tried different cables, I would look at the jack sockets.

I think Affprod nailed it. Jack issue in the amp is prime suspect based on symptoms presented, but it is always risky to diagnose things remotely. An amp tech needs to have a look. Might need a new jack or it might just be a bad solder joint. Possibly this amp uses the plastic square jack that solders directly to the printed circuit board. I hate those jacks as they are notorious for causing issues exactly like this. Best steps to prevent issues with them is to keep the nut snug so the jack doesn't wiggle around, don't step on a cable near the amp which can cause a lot of stress on the jack breaking the solder joints and use care inserting and removing plugs meaning no slamming in or jerking out. Even when babied they can still cause issues, which are usually easily remedied. If you have a unit under warranty you should get it addressed at a Fender authorized service center. Cracking the amp open yourself or having a local non-Fender tech do it will void the warranty.

There are lots of things in your house that will make an amp buzz like fluorescent lights, dimmer switches, A/C adapters and other electronic gadgets. Have you tried using the amp in a different room? Alternatively, see if you can turn off other potential sources as mentioned above and see if that does anything.
