Post subject: bxr bass cab

Help!I just got a bxr spectrum cabient and its in pieces.I need a wiring diagram I'm not a tech guy, so simple will work.I just need to wirer the speakers to the crossover .The 18 inch is easy I got that part.Its the 2 10 inch speakers I have a problem with.I have a green wirer,I have a black winer,and a green one that goes between them. witch one is positive, and negative and here the hell does the green jumper wirer go. Thanks for any help.

Are the 10" supposed to be hooked up in series? Three wires would indicate this is a possibility. Ohms of the 10''s and what they are supposed to resolve to would help. :D

Thank for the info The speakers are 8 ohms each and 4 when series. With the crossover and 18 the cab itself should be at 4 ohms.

I suppose it's stupid to ask why you bought a speaker cabinet in pieces if it didn't come with any instructions or wiring diagrams?

2x8 ohms in series is 16 ohms. What is the ohmage of the 18"?

BTW. I am hoping you have gotten this figured out. If so, ignore my question.
