For Christmas my kids expanded my library of music DVDs. One that I found really interesting was a video history of The Hollies, all live performances. The bassist, right up to when they were getting really popular, played a beautiful Bass VI. I guess I never really watched anyone play one on stage, so I enjoyed it a lot. Unfortunately, he left the band when they started touring for economic and family reasons.

If you get the chance, give it a watch. It is called The Hollies, Look Through Any Window, 1963-1975.
