Call me crazy, but i think this would be awesome. Maybe a bridge jazz pickup, with split coil mustang pickups at the neck position? Jazz neck? Hi-Mass/Badass II bridge? The bright "California" colors that fender seems to hate to use these days (Daphne blue, fiesta red, shell pink, graffiti yellow, etc)? I would totally buy this, and i think theres enough other people out there who would too. I know Courtney Love would agree to let Fender use the design because shes already let them release mustangs and jaguars under kurt's name based on his designs, and she likes money, which she would get out of this. What do you guys think?

I'm in ! A Mustang body shape, in Lake Placid Blue, Daphne blue just seems a little pale to me. No offense "Affprod". The bridge p/up in proportion to the current Mustang split coil, and the bridge p/up must have the rounded corners (oval shape ) as well. To top it all off with concentric stacked pots. A main Volume, then a concentric stacked knob for each p/up. Do we want it active??? Passive??? Both!!! Why not, then we can toggle back and forth.
Yes, I have thought about how cool this would be. A while back I printed out the " Custom Shop " quote guide, got to $7-G-ish, and put it away for another day. :P
