The photographer that took the pictures of my collection last Friday sent me this mockup. It includes several ideas for presentation he wants me to consider, the basses are in no particular order or groupings, but I thought it was still a really cool picture and thought I would share.

I think I see a red JP90 in there.

Yes, there is a red JP-90 in there. Good catch. I guess that's one more I can't use for "What the Heck is This?"

Sorry about the resolution, but it is just a proto photo. We are sitting down later this week to discuss content and layout for several groupings. I just saw it today and thought it was worth sharing, even in it's current format.

I asked him to make me thinner, younger and with a full head of hair. I guess at any resolution that was just not possible.

Steve

Only thing I'd change would be adding more Blanda stuff, and an additional fretless JP90 in natural ash. That is a cool photo.

Basses in proper grouping sequence, a little change of design and big change in the background color. Removed the Ibanez and Washburn. Left a spot for the Daphne Blue Mustang when it comes back. Almost final picture.

That looks about 100% better with the black backround.

Nice collection. How long did it take you to acquire it all?

Once I had the idea to collect all 50 years, maybe 3-4 years. I just had J's and P's prior to that. It was actually a lot of fun.

DAMN dude, that is a CRAZY cool collection of basses. I'm speechless.

Although I'm still laughing at the comment....."I asked him to make me thinner, younger and with a full head of hair. I guess at any resolution that was just not possible."

Totally cool photo, thanx for sharing, it's awesome. And for my two cents, I like the way you can see the reflections below all the basses with the white background.
