Yes I remember now. I'm suprised no one put Fenton down as one of their main influences.

He's usually the fifth or sixth choice people make. they ask who or which three. Fenton has always waled on the fringe, just a little out of the spotlight.

You'll never believe what he's doing now. He's travelling with that giant duck.

Could be!

Just an update. Fenton left Pittsburgh with the duck, now they're BOTH missing!

Not to worry, Fenton is just heading south for the winter. A buddy over in Jacksonville caught up with FF at the Lighthouse restaurant where he was enjoying a Grouper Rueben, Gator Bites and a cold barley pop. He has turned the inside of his duck into a recording studio and also offers lessons. I hope it is on bass and not on life. Poor kids aren't ready for the later.

I miss the Grouper sandwiches I used to get South of Tampa at this little used up Marina on 41. The sandwich was as big as a plate. Maybe $4 !!! Nice. Then it was down to this other fish place where I'd eat Deviled Crab for breakfast with a little hot sauce. OH YEAH!!!

Well what do you expect? That's what you get for telling Fenton to 'duck' when going through a low door way.

Oh! Remember what happened that one time Fenton was caddying for Steve when he yelled "Fore!"? I still get good laugh out of it all these years latter.

Oh man, that was an embarrassing day. Egad. Glad you guys can still laugh at. Happier still the police let us off with a warning. Who would have thought yelling FORE would have triggered that series of events.

By the way. Seems Fenton neglected to get a local license for his floating business. Jacksonville has told him to get the duck out of there.

Yeah anytime I see water (Ocean) I want deviled crab and hot sauce. It's great for breakfast. It used to give me a lot of energy in the morning-- If I could stop at a fish place here everyday I would get back into it. :D

I am lucky that I get to live your old life. Anna Maria Island it the first barrier island south of Tampa. The $4 Grouper sandwiches are gone, but they still taste great, just cost a bit more, and may not fill your plate. If you think of the names of either place I will check them out and give you an update, tell them Stroker sent me. I fly out of Tampa a couple times a month and usually stop and dine at some dive....I think dives have the great food....on the way home.

There is a place called the Backfin Blue in Gulfport, just south of St. Pete on the bay, that does things with Blue Crab that are totally sinful, and great tasting. I average 40 pounds heavier than when I lived in WI. The food down here is incredible. After 12 years, I am surprised I am not even bigger.

I am also a fan of hot pepper sauces and have a pantry full of different types. Besides crab, there is nothing better than a fresh oyster with s good dose of Mango/Habanero sauce.

Excuse me, I have to go eat.

OH BOY__ NOW WE'RE TALKIN !!!! I can't remember the names of the places but if you head south out of Tampa on HWY 41 they are 10 or so miles down on the RHS (maybe farther). If you get to Giibsonton ( home of Lobster Boy) there is a bar in a strip mall on the LHS where the post office is that has great chicken wings. AND if you keep heading south on 41 there is a Mexican grocery store in Ruskin that sells home made tacos that will do it to you.

Whoever sees Fenton next, please tell him I've got those neodymium magnets he needs for the cyclotron he's building. OK?
