No. But he ordered some from the deli for his sandwich. It was the only place along the route we were hitch- hiking. It was cold in Nebraska. We weren't getting many rides. Nobody want's to stop for two guys hitch-hiking. Especially in the Winter when it's snowing. Fenton told me to quit hyphonating hitch-hiking and then a pickup truck heading our way pulled up. The guy just looked at us and thumbed towards the back. He had a cover on the bed and we climed inside. It was still pretty cold but it was better than standing out in the cold. There were'nt many cars that time of day on the two lane roads in Nebraska. There was some hay in the bed of the truck and I used it to cover my legs to try and keep warm. Fenton played his harmoica as we rode along. It got me thinking about where we had been and what we had done.

In case anyone was wondering about Fenton's Fender bass connection, I found this:

Well! You really let the cat out of that bag on that one! If you noticed the J wasn't in their name. They were the first to eliminate it, because they didn't want to sound "foreign". Fenton wanted to stay loyal to his roots, so he always used it.

Now do you see why he always had new fender basses? He used fender amps too. he preferred Doobie Zoghajast custom amps, but they always weren't available. Fenton was rough on equipment. Pete Townsend said, "I have nothing on t bloody fool" Fenton was in one of the opening acts at Isle of Wright. Him and John and Keith caused quite a ruckus.

There is so much to tell about Fenton, it would take forever. I keep telling him he needs a Facebook page.

Fenton lost his Zoghajast amp in a poker game at a truck stop in Idaho while we were on our way to Illinois. After the ride thru Nebraska in the back of the old pick up truck we parted ways near Danville Ill. It's corn country there. Very flat , lots of wind and freezing cold. Route 36 is the main east -west road to and from Danville going east and west. Duh.... Either way we ate lunch at the $@!&#* Barrel. The last of Fenton was seen walking south across the east - west Rt. 36 that runs east and west.

Well, that makes sense. The family has a house just down the road in Plano.

To which it may very well have been where he was heading as I sat in the $@!&#* Barrell that Fender won't let the word Kracker be typed in fear it may offend some hill billy out there. But near that time some low account urban cowboy misfit dink wheat was up to no good as far as Fjenton Fjarnsworth is concerned and I may have not spelled that right also, as well and in conjunction with.

Aren't Norwegians known for smelly feet or runny noses or something?

Guys, I got a strange tekst from an unknown number. telling me to "Drop Flash off at the Point", signed FF. I've been wondering what it is, theres an old worn jazz bass corpse somewhere on the attic that has the letter f l a s and h on different parts of it. Anyone got something that might explain this stuff?
