I have purchase a second and Fender Lyte bass, and i´m very pleased, it´s fantastic.
Just a small problem the previouse owner glued a "kind off" pickgard to the body, and when I removed it, I have not been able tomo remove ald the glue. Now i have a simple question, How can I remove that remanig glue without damaging the body gloss?

It helps to know if it is actual contact cement. The product to use in a lot of cases depends on what type of glue it is. Alcohol, Mineral Spirits, Goo Gone , Goof Off, Polishing compound , hot water, Oxy Clean, heat and some others can be used to remove glue residue. The main thing being not to damage the finish. Of course you know that. You could maybe search the glue removers/ softeners and decide which may work the best. And of course you prob know that too. You could post a picture so we can see if it's cement or asphalt sealer too. You never know with some numb nutzez out there.

I use goo ojf on steel paint door , this not only remove the glue but the paint too. Do some test in hidden wood before.

I never had problem with lighter gas.

The "lighter gas" previously mentioned is technically NAPHTHA. This is also in various forms used as dry cleaning fluid. It is liquid, evaporates quickly and is highly combustible. Sometimes it is called lighter fluid in the USA. Brand names of lighter fluids I've used here are Zippo and Ronsonol. Again, this is highly combustible stuff and should not be in contact with skin. It is also what Jimi Hendrix used on stage to torch various Stratocasters.

It is classified as a hazardous material. Here is a material safety data sheet for the Ronsonol brand: http://www.cooperbooth.com/datasheets/160606.pdf

I'll give you a tip to remove glue from a guitar/ bass finish.

Use trumpet valve oil. it is deoderized kerosene and it works very well at removing glue.
