I admit I am taking a shortcut here, but I have given a pretty good shot online through google. I am missing the rear strap button for a Fender Prophecy I. Imagine my surprise when I received a Fender Stu Hamm I into my collection today and it has the same strap buttons. Still, googling both guitars for strap buttons is leaving me wanting. Where can I get one?

Just FYI, I am getting close. Only missing the Fender Heartfield DR 4 and the Fender HM 4 and my Fender bass collection will be complete. Please feel free to send any leads my way as I have not found either in the seven years I have been at this obsession.

Wife is happy, I told her to look at the bright side, I could collect muscle cars. LOL.

Thanks all.

Steve

Dang you stole my line, except I always said Picassos instead of muscle cars.

So you have a Fender Performer in your collection of rare Fender basses?

Well if you don't, now you have one more to get! lol

Good luck with the strap buttons. I'd just put Fender Japan buttons on it.

LOL, thanks Brother Dave.

Yes, I have two Performers. One Tobacco Burst in near mint condition and one Ice White in very good condition (someone added a strap button to the lower horn to make it a lefty, otherwise it is excellent.) The Performer is actually one of my favorites.

Best Regards,
Steve
