Hi. I have been playing bass guitar for about a year now, and im currently looking for a new bass. Ive been thinking about getting a Jaguar Bass guitar but i dont really know whats good and whats not so good about it. So what im asking is is the Jaguar a good guitar for preformances and playability, or is there another, better guitar out there for the same (or less) price? Thanks

The Fender Jaguar Bass is in my opinion the best bass for the price.

It has a huge variety of different tone options because of the active/passive switching and the ability to switch around the pickup configuration with the flick of a switch.

for 700 it's definitely the best bass available...I've had mine for almost a year and I play it every day

I think it is a very good bass for the price, I really loved the passive tone. The only con in my opinion was that the bass in the active mode is really coming in fast, I think it's a little too booming.

Excellent bass.
The problem is that it is a poorly balanced bass. It is unusually heavy in the neck, so you're constantly having to hold it up with your left hand when standing with a strap.
That was a deal breaker for me.
I traded mine in.
Although it is a good sounding bass, and looks cooler than any other bass out there.

i loved the bass when i played it and i plan to make it my next bass you can control the treble and bass with certain knobs you have pickup selectors on the other side and you also have a in/out switch and!!!! a passive active switch. This bass is awesome, but it may need to be set up which is not a big deal at all. Good luck and i would 1000% Reccomend this bass its sweet.!!!!!!!
