H'okay, so...

I own this beat up ol' Bentley Series 10 bass, and it's a P/J-bucker setup. She's been nicknamed the "hand of God" by some of my mates due to her RIDICULOUS bottom end. She's a real earthshaker and not always in a good way. Trouble is, I wanna update the old girl with some newer electronical goodness, passive. I can't find a good place to get a jazz style humbucker, you know the one, the doubled jazz pickup. Any help is very greatly appreciated.

Figure out what specs you want, then contact Curtis Novak. Here is just one way he can make it look: http://curtisnovak.com/pickups/DualJazz.shtml

Bill Lawrence, Delano and Rio Grande also make humbucking Jazz Bass pickups.

From what I see you want an American Deluxe P-Bass setup without active electronics.

Yahtzee is very obviously a highly technical term expressing the pure joy of hearing a Fender Jazz Bass Humbucker. I have also heard them called "Black Top" Humbuckers on the Pawnshop series. Is there a difference? :?: :?

I can't see a huge difference since these humbucking J pickups are BL-designed.

I am confused about the statement that Bill Lawrence is selling Jazz humbuckers. Do you mean Bill Lawrence USA Pickups (which isn't really Bill Lawrence at all but his old designs) or do you mean Mr. Lawrence himself with a Wilde Pickups brand Jazz Humbucker? So far as I knew till reading that I was under the impression that presently Mr. Lawrence wasn't offering but two bass pickups and neither are double Jazz humbuckers.
