Jazz profile neck. A fretless Jazz neck should work.

thanks man. but i was thinking that nut width, fretboard radius, and scale length would come into effect. would a fretless jazz neck fit regardless or does that stuff not matter?

The Jaguar neck has a Jazz profile. It is essentially a Jazz neck with a Jaguar decal on the headstock. The scale, radius, nut width are the same on the Jazz and the Jaguar.

You could also put a fretless Precision neck on it as only the nut width is different and by the time the strings get to the pickups there is only a couple of millimeters difference. This would make setup only a tad more involved but is very doable.

Before you go butchering up a perfectly good Jaguar, have a try with the new Squier Active Fretless Jazz. That is a much improved instrument over the previous passive Squier Fretless jazz.
