That was top of the line back then. They were great basses (still are) as long as you don't get the entry level. Ibanez don't have a cheaper arm like Squier for Fender or Epi for Gibson. So when you're new, you don't know unless you research it. Ibanez is still a great guitar company.

I guess there's still no word on this model yet, huh? I am really wanting one to go with my pair of Tony Franklin P's.

Has anyone heard anything new? Will it have the Fretless Fundamentals in it, etc?

I see it listed under Jazz Basses, but can't find a price anywhere.

I ordered one through my local Fender dealer back in July for $2,250. I still haven't heard on the progress of my order but I am waiting patiently. I always said that if Fender made a 24 fret 6 string Jazz Bass I would buy one. So now I wait.

Peace Out,
Rev J

I was lucky I ordered mine when I did. The owner of the shop where I got it said that it was the only instrument he sold that actually appreciated in value before it left the shop. I do like Warwicks too but I'm definitely in love with my Fender.

"Nothing scares me more than white people going 'Yeehaw'," Richard Pryor.

Actually I was wondering since I don't see too many of these around how I would go about seeing how many were made.
