Listed on the site now.

http://www.fender.com/products/index.ph ... ion=basses

When you mouse over the bass category, 4 subcats are underneath for bass models, now including Jag.

Thought I'd post as I have seen lotsa people rue-ing the end of the Jag by Fender.

I never knew this but the Jaguar bass out now is'nt the first series of them, they go back much more than I thought,This is like their second run and are much more accepted now as opposed to the first time they were produced(94-95)and the original ones are way up in price, opposed to before they could'nt be given away, but even now they are discontinuing the Japanese made bass in favor of the Indonesian made Squiers that cost less to make by cutting the corners again,I knew it was too good to last for any significant amount of time, IT NEVER FAILS!

This bass is now available in 3-Tone Sunburst, Candy Apple Red and Cobalt Blue Metallic. These finishes replace Black, Hot Rod Red and Olympic White.

I think Fender decided to bring back the Jaguar bass by popular demand.

Perhaps we will see further additions such as a maple neck with black binding/blocks and (possibly) 5-string and USA-made versions of the instrument.

Good, then those crying about it being discontinued can actually buy it instead of complaining that it was discontinued. C'mon Jag fans, buy it, Fender listened to you. Go out and buy it now. Let's see you put your money where your mouth is.

Are these things still made in Japan? Something tells me that they're made in Mexico this time.

EDIT: They're made in Japan still!

Just saw it. I'm glad they decided to reincarnate the Jaguar Bass.

The Modern Players version has a great-looking maple neck/fretboard with black tuxedo blocks.

Actually, The Deluxe Jaguar Bass (sunburst, Candy Apple, and cobalt) have a 025 prefix which implies Crafted In Japan.

The Modern Player Jagbass lacks off an active circuit, though.

TRUE. But the black one pictured in this thread isn't Japanese. It has a 024 prefix which apparently means China.
