Well they've done it again! New model, "The Shuttle Bass", will be available August 8, 2011. It will be an alder body with active/passive switch to control the humbucker pickups. A drop D and drop G tuners, triple stacked knobs, 1/4 inch AND direct out outputs, you can go right to the board with this one!

The best part, IMHO, is it will have a Tech 21 Bassdriver built in.

I wonder about something though, it said country of origin, Switzerland, we'll just have to wait and see. It' a limited run.

There are too many people that come here looking for real information Ox. I know it's good and fun, but to some they'll take it as gospel. Not cool.

I guess if the Shuttle model was Made In Japan then Lawsuit would be wanting one.

Unfortunately, what Oxfan didn't know is that the Shuttle prototype was destroyed when it was connected to a mixer via XLR jack and someone pushed the Phantom power button on the mixer. KABOOMSKI!

Well, the inside joke at Oxyron R&D now is....where do Shuttle players gig?

ALL OVER CALIFORNIA!

Hey lighten up folks. Life is too short, have some fun, or at least let others have theirs. (However sick, twisted, or in this case...Teflon coated it may be.)

Quoting from the 1st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

So no laws were broken and there were no injuries. I'm good with that. However, feel free to petition for redress.

In the meantime I'm working on another new model here at Brodav Labs. The DUOSONIC BASS which has a build in stereo amplifier which I call THE LOUD BOX II. I had not thought of incorporating a Bass Driver but it isn't too late! Here's a sneak peek!

Still in negotiations with G&G on the case. It is pretty big and UPS doesn't wanna ship it.

Unfortunately my first DUOSONIC concept model pictured below wasn't exactly a hit but G&G did come through on that one. I'm hoping for better things with the new concept above. I should have done a 5 on top and a 4 on the bottom instead of two 4's.

Hmmm, what happened to the serious brotherdave? Has he been kidnapped by Pennywise? Has he been subjected to mind altering drugs? This doesn't seem right

And I have made some serious posts today that literally made my brain smoke. I had to remember what patent numbers were for what and what pot codes were CTS or Stackpole and the years the serials moved and to where. I'm getting too old for this!

The double neck looks alot like the one that Tim Commerford (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave) plays one neck is tuned B-E-A-D the other is tuned E-A-D-G which is something I don't understand conceptually. Why don't you just play a 5 string.
