It's the MIM Deluxe version. This model was the successor of the MIJ Lyte series models made in the 1990s. Fender introduced a short-lived 5-string version in 2005.

The American Zones were crafted with multiple layers of exotic woods. They came with gold hardware, dual humbuckers and an 18V supply.

I have the mim teal colored one I could part with. I can send photo to an email address. it is like new with a fender gig bag. these are great basses and a shame they do not make them anymore. has the active electronics which really I loved.
