Fender Deluxe Jazz (primary working bass)
Fender MIM P-bass (Original P-bass pup mod)
Ric 4003
Fender Jazz Special Fretless (credible sort of double bass thump sound)
Gibson SG bass (RI model) ... classic rock, short scale neck
Ocean short scale fretless ... active Barolinis (great for fusion type work)
Ocean was (from what I could find) a short-lived private Guitar Center brand. I found it as a return for 40% off list one day, played like glass and so I took it.
Gretsch 5123B hollow body ... made in small runs for two different years as a GC exclusive. Nice for country but I can also get a decent double bass-like sound out of it.
Squire Tele bass (okay sound, so-so playability ... probably will be sold)

(I'm guilty of collecting but I do play them all. The J-Bass is the go to because the neck works perfectly for me and it has S1 switching for somewhat plausible P-sound in a pinch. The weight, neck and versatility make it something I can use on virtually any gig and play all night. The Ric comes close but I tend to baby that somewhat and watch where I take that.)

My bass(es) is my friend. It comforts me when I'm alone, and wipes my tears when I'm feeling blue. It is my partner, my significant other and by my local musical reputation, my weapon of mass destruction.

That, is what my bass is. :P
