Thank You. At The Time I Bought It Way Back When I Wanted Something That Would Get Me Close To An Alembic On My Budget And With The Size Of My Hands It Fit The Bill. Nothing Wrong With Fender Though. That Will Be My Next One.

1987 (maybe '88) Jazz Bass Special, black body and hardware, black headstock (front only, back of neck is natural, too), rosewood fingerboard, 7.25" radius. Japanese, and it's one fine playing instrument. I don't know why they call it "Jazz" when it looks like a Precision with a Precision body. Feels like one, too. But then, it has a Jazz bridge pickup and a Jazz neck.

2001 American Series Jazz Bass. My workhorse. Aquamarine metallic. Maple fingerboard, 9.5" radius, medium jumbo frets. I don't care for the radius or tall frets, but it works fine (I don't play slap). I put a black, three-ply pickguard on it. Heh, now I don't know which I like best, the black or the original parchment one. Anyway, I've played the fool out of this bass professionally for 9-1/2 years without a flaw.

Really don't know which I love the most.
