my dream bass would be a Fender Jaguar with P/H pickup combo, bass boost, and an inbuilt Distort drive. OTT i know, but when playing Heavy Metal on stage it is far easier having the pedal in built into the bass

So far, I think I got what I wanted, and my two basses could probably deliver what I need as an up-and-coming bassist for a few years to come; perhaps the most immediate wants would be to upgrade the pups of my MIM Jazz Bass.

Next ones in line would be an American Jazz or a Precision fretless, An Ibanez SR505 (or if I could afford it a SR5005), A Steinberger (it just seems so original and practical), a Stingray, and a Kramer Disciple. Also, I thought I might had a chance to get an original Sir McCartney's bass (Hofner) from a contest, but since I didn't win, the bass has given me some serious G.A.S.

My dream bass would be a fender american deluxe 5 string precision bass with either 2 jazz bass pickups or a precision and a jazz bass pickup. With a rosewood neck & abalone dot markers in tobacco sunburst. Don't care for the off set jazz bass style or a red in the sunburst. Fender only makes the american deluxe precision in a four string? Don't want a used F.A.D. with the precision pickup with the humbucker.

One of two. Both custom shop.

A '59 P with a one piece maple board in white blonde/gold pickguard, or for a more custom color such as walnut/black 'guard. Not much fancy stuff, but a '57 lookalike bass (hence the white blonde) with '59 characteristics makes me happy.

OR

A '55 P in either Candy Green or Shell Pink with a flame maple neck.

That's about it for the time being.

A shortscale (30") Pbass with Blue flower finish, rosewood f-board so dark it is almost black, and a dark tint maple neck and headstock.

I want a 78-82 no special year ANTIGUA PRECISION BASS W/MAPLE FRETBOARD(1 piece neck/fretboard)I saw one for the very first time on an older S.N.L. episode, they have one in the wardrobe dept used for the skits(YES,waredrobe dept)its not from the bassist in the SNL band at the time like I first thought, the player changed and the bass was still there being used in skits long after that bassist was gone, which led me too finding out its a prop,if the show ever ends I would kill for a shot at owning that bass, they will def auction it off(if its not stolen).
Yea,I love me an Antigua bass(precision)
