fender aerodyne jazz definately. just got mine about a month ago. i have always played p-basses but this thing blew me away. p-j pickup configuration is awesome. the neck is great after a few adjustments. intonation is just about perfect (still tinkering). just feels good.

I would like some sort of passive P/J bass, with a pickup selector switch, but, it must have a Precision neck. Unfortunately every P/J bass I've ever seen has a Jazz neck.

I believe the Fender Hot-Rodded Precision bass (PJ) came with a Precision neck.

I'd like to see an American Fender Jazz Bass with J neck, P body, hum canceling J pickups, vintage style reverse tuners, and matching head-stock color option.

G&L has the JB-2, Yamaha offered a couple BB models, why not Fender.

A 30.5" scale Pbass...(sorry, had to say it).
or, a 1961 reissue Gibson EB-3 bass.

I already own my dream bass, Precision Elite II. I am about to buy another, and I think I am going to collect them. They sound that good!
