Kneel before Zod.

I really hate the fact that my internal alarm clock has me awake at 7am on a Sunday.

Now that we got all of that out of the way, yeah, PJB, lot's of new people here, lots more good info. For as many people here now, there's less conversation than back in the day.

Yes Zod we accept your supremacy as ruler of the universe, is that satisfactory, lmao[/url]

It's all fun & games though.

I love the questions like:
What year is my bass?

or

What's the difference between a Jazz and a Precision?

I realize that alot of people are, well, lazy. They want things given to them. They take the easy way. In this age of the internets, if people can't take the time to try and find the answer to their question by googling it, then it's a lost cause. You know what I mean? We can pretty much found out anything on the web.

I googled "hot girls in bikinis". This is what I got.

I especially like the one's that beg Brother Dave for help, then argue with him, I know he looks forward to that too.

Hey PJB, I see you got a VM Jazz, I got one too, it's a great addition to the family. My Precision is still my #1 but the VM is a great backup and I use it a lot.

Hail Zod! :D

Are you kidding Ox? BrotherDave never claims to know all, but he sure is helpful, and I've not noted anything he said to be incorrect...unbelieveable. I like it, I've had 2 or 3 other Squiers in my life, this feels the most like a Fender, better than older MIM's for sure. I also had the Jazz Bass Active Deluxe V a few years a go, but sold it. The VM sounds better than my MIM currently. I guess that's what a decade of forward progress would do scientifically/electronically :) My #1 is still my '87.

There have been quite a few times when different people have been pretty rude. You know Dave, he still answers questions with all the info he can give, he's a good guy.

I agree that the VM is a great bass, I remember the first time i played one, it blew me away.

Yeah, Dave has alot of knowledge and experience with Fender. He is a fantastic guy. But like Ox said, some have been rude and argued with him. Oh well, it is what it is. You can't please everyone.

This was one of the reason I didn't post for so long, but Zod knew that Ox, we kept in touch via email and fb.

If anybody cares, here's a pic of what my first bass (a Univox) that I talked about earlier looked like:

Except mine still had the pickguard.
