Hey all, I've got a Jag bass with a Bada$$ II bridge, and I was wondering if the fender "ashtray" would fit over this before I went out and bought one.

On another note, I've never seen a Jag with the Jazz bass P/U covers installed. Anyone here seen or done this?

Greetings.

Unfortunately, no to both your questions.

After looking at the BAII vs. stock bridge, I figured that, but I thought I'd check anyway since I've never had a bass with the ashtrays.

I'm still thinking about putting one over the Neck pickup, but the screw hole looks like it might line up right at the edge of the pickguard above the pickup. If it works I'll post up pictures and blind everyone with all the chrome! 8)

I have a MIM Jazz Bass with a BAII installed. I wanted the cover over it too. I ended up moving the BAII 7/8 of an inch towards the neck while keeping the original string length.

There is a BAII under this cover:
