Love My new Jaquar Bass, but it has some serious Neck Dive. Really wears on the Shoulder after a little while. I have tried the obvious....wider strap, etc. I am going to try changing the Bridge to a Badass to try and balance it out. I see some folks here have used the Badass 11, but Leo Quan says the Badass 111 fits the Deluxe series, which the Jaquar is? Also , thinking of changing the Tuners to something Lighter. Does anyone know of lighter DIRECT Replacemnt Tuners? It has the mysterious"Vintage Style Tuners". Does anyone know the Hole size for the Tuners? All help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

yup, i have the jag bass too and it feels head heavy to me, but usually it's not a problem. I don't know, I have my hands on it all the time I'm playing, so it doesn't get a chance to do the neck dive.

not sure about changing the tuners, obviously it's CIJ and that means measurements are in metric. You may be able to fit the new lighter tuners from the USA series P Bass, but should check the millimeters v inches issue first.

I think a new, heavier bridge is the better, cheaper solution. Cosmetically, it may be the best modification as well, certainly the easiest of the two.

I would be very wary of messing with the headstock unless you have a qualified person to do it (and of course, qualified help + new tuners = ramen noodles for a year). I had a friend who tried to update the tuners on a vintage Strat and would up cracking the headstock in two places once he brought all the strings up to pitch.

+1 on the heavier bridge, it'll do better things for your tone too. maybe you need a badass :!:
