I was in a guitar store yesterday and saw a Jaguar Bass,it was the coolest bass I've seen.It has a slim Jazz Bass type neck and the same electrics configuration as the Jag guitar.Anyone familiar with it?I'd love to get one.

Great bass. I've had mine for a little over a year now, and I don't think I'll ever part with it. Once you figure out what all the switches and knobs do, you can dial in just about any tone you want. The active/passive option is nice too. Its got the same pickup config as a Jazz, with the bridge pickup in the 70's Jazz position (closer to the bridge). Makes it a great bass for slap.

All I've done to mine was slap on a BA II bridge and its good to go!

I just purchased a 3tone sunburst Fender Jaguar that I am waiting for it to come in from Fender to my Local Sam Ash. I eventually want to install a Leo Quan Bad $@! II
bridge and a Brass nut. The stock bridge looks rather Cheesey. :?
