How about a roll call? Maybe we can get a better count on how many actually exist.

1 - Pearl White - Assembled with NOS neck, no Sn.

there's a white one at my local guitar shop. they want way too much money for it, though. i think it might be on consignment, because most of their stuff is surprisingly cheap.

Great.
So still looking for Sunburst and Pearl White ?
I've got them as guitars in the relevant thread in this Forum.

Hello everyone,

I just got my Performer 10 days ago and I am just bowled over by her. The best bass I have ever played. A little battered (clearly dropped at some point) but that doesn't matter because she sounds superb. Also I'll be gigging with her most weeks so she wouldn't have stayed pristine anyway!

The bloke who sold me mine has another on the Bay at the moment. He was great with me, sending loads of pictures and being very honest about the condition, so I'm happy to give him a plug!

Now that I have finally found some other people with Performers (can't find any in the UK) I can ask some really basic questions about them!

Cheers,

elom

Okay, so here is my first dumb question:

I was guessing that I had two volume pots, tone and pick-up selector. However with the pickup selector in the middle the volume pots don't act as I would expect. If I turn one pot down to zero I lose all sound rather than just the sound from that pickup. Am I missing something here or do I potentially have some faulty wiring?

Thanks

elom

I'm pretty sure mine is like that also, I'll confirm tonight.

Confirmed. With both pups selected, setting either one (or both) volume to zero results in no output.

Thanks for confirming that. So can anyone explain how the volume controls work with both pickups selected then?

Also what is "TBX Circuit Control" and is this connected. I know that TBX stands for Treble Bass eXpander but not what it actually is!

First gig with the Performer this weekend...

Hi, I am new here to the posts. Does anyone know of where I can buy a Performer bass. I am located in the NYC area.
