I've been playing with a few local bands as a bassist and back-up vocalist.

On stage I use the following pedals (not in particular order):
BOSS Overdrive
BOSS Flanger
BOSS Super Octave
Crybaby 535Q Wah
MXR Phase 100

I'm interested in buying a Delay pedal, Fuzz pedal, and also a Tuning pedal.
I've been looking at BOSS pedals, but if anyone knows another brand who carries these pedals (and are good) please notify me.

Thanks

The Boss TU-2 Tuner is one of the most popular and competent tuners ever. Every band I see, including my own, uses it. Its small, accurate, and isnt too expensive, especially when bought used.

As far as Fuzz pedals go, I hear great things about Electro-Harmonix "Big Muff" pedal. Supposedly, they send your signal into orbit!!!

A Russian-made Big Muff is generally considered to be THE bass fuzz box. Sounds absolutely amazing with my Jag. I recommend it over the standard Muff or Bass Big Muff-and its cheaper than both! You should be able to find it anywhere for $55. Two cons are its large size and the fact that it only runs on 9volts; no adapters.

I've always liked the MXR Analog Delay, when I've been able to play around with it; should be $140 or so.

To answer your actual question, my pedalboard is:
MXR Super Comp
Russian Muff
Morley Dual Bass Wah (it really is two wahs for the price of one!)
BOSS Super Chorus
Dano Reverb

Plus the octaver and limiter built into my amp head. i could really count the Jag as a pedal too; I get more varied sounds by playing with that than any pedal.

My board is Whirlwind A/B/Y Selector (best A/B pedal I've ever found), an Aphex Punch Factory Compressor, Aphex Bass Xciter pedal, Behringer BDI21. There is also a Morley on/off switch I use to mute my rig. I'm soon adding a Tech 21 Bass Driver Deluxe which will replace both the selector and the BDI21. I'll then use the BDI21 for home practice only.

For home and rehearsals I use the Fender PT100 pedal tuner. For gigs I use the Fender RT1000 rack tuner. I use a line 6 combo with built in compressor for rehearsals and direct out into a mixer for home headphone practice so I only take the pedal board to gigs with the stack.

The Boss TU2 tuner is a great tuner for sure and additionally will power your other pedals with the right power patch cables and the Boss power adapter. However I already have a powered pedalboard so I don't need that feature. The Fender PT100 pedal is only about $45 to $50 in the USA and works great! I use mine almost every day and batteries seem to last about two to three months. I use the muting output for silent tuning so I don't leave it on by accident. The Fender PT100 is chromatic and runs off 9 volt battery or a power jack in plus you can get them in different colors now. Mine is the older silver and black. The all black looks best to me.

Here's my board. Since this photo I've changed the order of the chain to Selector, Aphex Punch Factory, Aphex Xciter, Behringer BDI21. I think that sounds better.

After we lost our key player and had just a 3 pc bass/drum/guitar lineup with a singer I thought I'd add some effects to the bass to "fatten" the sound.

I got a Digitech BP80 to do this...... ......no matter what I set or how I set it I couldn't get good sounds from it. The setup is cumbersome and the getting the presets to a consistent volume is near impossible...!!

Now I just have a chorus pedal to do a reverb type sound and leave it at that. It's just on and I leave it alone, a BOSS pedal by the way.

I use a BOSS CEB-3 Bass Chorus Pedal which I highly recommend, and a DigiTech BP80 Multi-Effect Pedal.

I use:

Boss Bass Overdrive
Boss Bass Chorus
Boss Bass Synth (with expression pedal)
Boss Tremolo
Behringer Ultra Flange
Jim Dunlop Bass Wah
Electro Harmonix Double Muff
Ashdown Subharmonic Octave

May sound a tad excessive...but i do love my odd noises...

:D

i rarely use effects as i am primarily a jazz performer. but if ever i feel the urge, i put one of my guitar drives into the line.

Boss OD-3 Overdrive
DOD FX69B Grunge
DOD FX86B Death Metal Distortion

yes the last two sound quite weird. all three together produce a charmingly atrocious feedback.

i have a BP80 but don't normally use it because i do alot of covers and alot of the bands i cover don't use effects. but when i use the BP80 by digitech is very good and it was cheap i think its only $100 and had all the effects you need.but if you have the money i would get the BP200 for $150 i've heard it like the BP80 but better.

not exactly a effect but i have a Line 6-LowDown studio 110 and i o way have it on rock with no drive it adds a nice low end too it.

Boss GT-10 on and off stage. This thing is the most amazing piece of modeling equipment i've ever tried.

Here's what I am using currently, though I flipped-flopped the VT Bass and GeminiDrive. Also the BF-2 is removed for an EHX Bass Big Muff or MXR BlowTorch.
