hey all! first post here, heading over to the intro board soon :)

so I bought a used Ibanez GSR190 as my first bass and started learning back in October 2018. I've still got a lot to learn, but I think the size of my guitar is holding me back from playing more & learning more. I checked out a Mustang PJ the other day and it was absolutely beautiful... I definitely want one, even after looking into whether or not it would be smarter to buy a Squier Jaguar SS (I came to the conclusion that it wouldn't be smarter).

anyway I just want to know if there's any short scales I may be missing before I make the decision to buy a Mustang PJ, especially because I've been watching Fender as they release a string of beautiful new guitars for NAMM. thanks in advance, any help is appreciated :)
