I don't know, maybe random short scale basses like the Mustang and SG bass, and other randomness that has nothing to do with them. :P I'm really surprised we don't get in trouble for that, but then again, we're not being offensive and not a lot of people are even active in this particular part of the forum.

If for nothing else, it at least looks a bit less non Fender. The SG Std. is gone anyway. The Gibson was a very nice short scale, but the Super Bassman has my priority. It's an amp. I love amps.

Yeah, I don't blame you for that. That's not exactly a cheap amp to come by, and it wasn't like that was your only bass.

The two basses I have are fine for me. I didn't need the SG Std. anyway.

That's true, but then again, you never know, it might make a comeback. At least the ones you do get seem to be better than the previous ones.

That's true, you never can tell what's going to be on Gibson's plate. I don't even think Gibson knows that either.

Yeah, that reminds me, I should give another look at their site, to see if anything else is there.

Usually not much in basses. LP's are everywhere there.

Yeah, if you can't find a particular Les Paul model there, then you're just too damned picky. :P I think they have at least 50 different series of the damned things, with the variations within those. I checked again, and there's nothing else new, just the three (or four, if you count the 5-string separately) models.

The Gibson site is about mundane as it comes.

They did change it around a bit, since NAMM.

A bit, but they did that before that even. I just hope this new man at the helm works out.
