It certainly looks like it, even though you have a little bit more EQ options than I have with the Orange, which I wish had the same. That's one of the reasons I've tried to sell it and get an Ampeg, but no dice with that, I guess.

Amps can be tough to sell. There are some amps that get a bit of popularity with more players. I also think, most players have a liking, or disliking of brand names. Weather they really know anything about them, or not. I'm as guilty as anyone else for that myself. Some brand amps I just blow off what ever reason.
No clue though why your Orange isn't selling.

I haven't exactly kept it on the market, with running more ads, either. I needed the amp for the last gig I did, and I'll need it for upcoming shows, as well. I can't exactly put it on consignment like I did with those cabs and the Schecter. At least I've been able to sell the other stuff. I suppose I could try again, but I don't know. It does pretty good when I use the MXR Preamp with it, but I haven't ran the Ibanez through it yet. I might not need to use the MXR with that one, since that has a P and J pickup design.

That maybe a formidable combination of the Orange, and the Ibanez PJ.

Well, I'll find out sooner or later. I do know there is one gig scheduled, at least. I know there will be more, but my girlfriend has been concentrating on working on a new album. She's already in the process of mixing the new single for the Summer. I'm on it, with the Ibanez. I did try it out with the violin bass, but the Ibanez just sounded better for the track. I'll probably mainly use the violin bass for the 60's side project, if that ever gets going again, which I'm sure it will. There's just nine million other things happening right now.

That's cool about the album. if you want to play your Violin more, live gigs may be just the right situation. Live sounds aren't as critical as studio work. Violin body basses do look damn good on a stage too.

Yeah, I did use it on our last gig, and it did quite well. There's also a matter of tweaking the MXR pedal from one bass to the other. Unfortunately, I can't have one setting fits all. I have to adjust the treble, for one thing. It's too high if I leave it on the setting for the violin, and use the Ibanez.

It's not that uncommon to use consistently use one bass for live shows. Felix only used an EB1 live. And that guy McCartney played a Hofner for some]time.

You know, that Gibson version, even though it's a solid body, is one of my Holy Grail bucket list basses, i.e. if I win the lottery because they're are frigging rare and expensive instruments. I don't know what it is about it, but I always thought it was one of the coolest things ever, at least to me, anyway.

Yeah,....... his EB1 was one sharp bass, and he played it so well.

Either that, or it got stolen.

Yeah, no joke. So far, knock on wood, I've never had that happen to me, but I watch my stuff like a hawk during a gig, but that's always a risk.
