The speakers are the last part of the sound process.

The Eminence Neo speakers are worth the price.

I'm going to get back to another Olympic White Mustang PJ when they're back in stock.

What made you decide on that?

I played a Torino Red at SA through a used Fender 100T, and it sounded better than through the Hartke KB15 they also had.

Yeah, I've noticed Fender instruments always sound best through Fender amps. I can see why you changed your mind.

I agree with you too Paul. It's like the Fender Instruments' electronics components have the same basic base line to them. It somewhat goes back to the old mating of a particular head, and cab of the same brand for the optimum sound, and performance. I believe there is something to it.

I'm sure it's designed that way.

If it is, or has been in the past, it's a good way to keep as much as possible running in the same brand name. Unless there are 12" speakers in the mix.

Yeah, there's usually something that might throw a wrench in it, like that. :P Sometimes trends aren't conducive to what you want, or the company doesn't see it profitable to manufacture these things.

If it's part of your sound, then by all means they should be. 8)

On the subject of amps and basses, I thought it was just me, but my Musicmasters and Hofner sound awful nice through my new Rumble 500.

And the Rumble is far more "carry-able" than the Line 6 I used to use. :D

If it sounds good with your basses, use it. I'm not locked into any amp / bass combination. So it's not a big deal for me to use the Super Bassman / SVT-212AV setup.
