By the way, how was your Thanksgiving Day? Mine was a nice quiet day with wife, and daughter at home.

It was pretty good. It's just my girlfriend and myself, and we cooked up everything after we got back from our walk. Of course, there's leftovers to contend with, which is a tradition, itself. :P

The three of us had leftovers for lunch. I'm not sure about dinner yet.
The title of this thread is changed, I guess I may use this as a spot for my Gibson in a Fender site. Gibson, Gibson, Gibson, Gibson, Gibson, Gibson! Image

We finished the last of the leftovers yesterday for dinner. Hopefully, the moderators won't freak out about the change of the thread title to a competitor brand, but you're the one who started the thread in the first place, and I doubt many people even pay attention to a lot of these forums these days, anyhow. By the way, I still think the orange Mustang Bass looks pretty cool, as a last mention to the original topic, but I can see why you went with the Gibsons. Those really look sweet. 8)

I don't think they really care. I'm the only one that can edit the title etc. anyway. I feel like we're about the only two who really post here.
So you like the Orange Mustang PJ still? Would you consider getting one?
The Gibson does have different, but older 60's style to them. I do after having the Mustang PJ, like the Humbuckings on the short scale SG's.

I'm not sure if I'd ever get a Mustang Bass, or not. That would depend on extra funds, and the plan for the next piece of gear is an Ampeg, anyhow. I do like the way it looks, though.

It is pretty intriguing. Different for sure.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that one. I think they also have the orange one, too.

Yeah, but I think the Orange is a regular Fender color now, and the Sea Foam Green is the FSR from Sweetwater.

I think you're right about that. I'll have to look on the Fender product page to confirm that about the orange finish.

I thought I remembered seeing the Orange listed, and now they have Road Worn versions of the Mustang PJ. Fender must be serious about keeping the Mustang PJ Series around.

There's a signature series Mustang for Justin Meldal-Johnsen, but it's modeled after a vintage style Mustang bass.
