Yes!!! I looked GAS squarely in the eyes, and said, NO! The two lack of probabilities coincide with each other. They are the devils hands at work. Sound good? Image See, I told you they'd fall for that one!

I'm sitting pretty with the three Jazzes I have. I really don't need, or want another one.

I don't know that it's GAS, as much as it's had one, wouldn't mind getting another one in time.

I found a new Mustang PJ, Olympic White at a local GC. I already had the Nylons for it. It worked good. It plays great. A nice quick action on it, and QC is superb on it It's nice to play a short scale again in a Jazz neck configuration.

I really did get a nice one. Just by luck though. I was able to find one in a local store, without ordering sight unseen.

I hadn't been in any music stores since the lung thing transpired. It was really just a coincidence that I went into the local GC. By luck also, they just hung it up top on the wall the night before, with a Sonic Blue one. It seems the Olympic White is a bit more difficult to acquire than the Sonic Blues are. Or maybe I see it that way because I was seeking the Olympic White, over the Sonic Blue. The ETB92S are onboard.

It's strange the white ones would be more difficult to get since that's a common Fender finish. Or perhaps that is the reason why. They might think the other colors would sell more because you don't get them with the other basses as much. It's usually black, white, and sunburst options.

Fender has made a lot of Olympic White axes over the years. The color just doesn't get old. To me the Sonic Blue is too close to the Olympic White. And the Torino Red is just,............... to Red. My Fender basses are Black, White, and Sunburst. Pretty boring right? I like em'.

I don't think they're boring. I have a couple of sunburst instruments and a couple of black ones, myself. I've never really owned a blue instrument, so that would be something I'd think about. I know what you mean about that one being close to the white one, though.

I had the 4003 Midnight Blue. That's about my only recollection of my adventures into a blue colored bass.
