Just got this a month back all original besides pick guard and nut. Wasn't very playable when I got it but has it professionally setup and a brand new nut due to the last one being in bad shape here's a video of it!

Nice bass. 8) I've seen a few of those for sale from time to time. I like the Fender short scales, even though I never owned any, but played a few over the years.

That's what lead me to purchase it, A nice bass to be able to practice songs on the couch without knocking anyone out! Still love my 2 P Basses though!

I realized I forgot to demo finger style! Actually pretty nice considering shorter scale makes the strings feel more loose, I figured it would make it more difficult but actually is enjoyable
to play! I saw this down in Orlando Florida at Disney World and thought of you Brother Dave, Gotta watch them bears

First saw that tombstone myself outside the Haunted Mansion in 1974. It has been there a very long time.

Hi:
Just getting back into bass playing and saw this post. I purchased a Musicmaster in 1979 and have had fun playing it since then. It is red and needs a tune-up, but I can attest to the fact that it is a fun instrument to play !!! This one looks nice, as well... Congrats on finding it !

Wow, a red one? I've only seen black and white ones. Pretty cool. 8)
