Sounds like a complete setup needs to be done.

Did you do intonation and tune after the bridge was put on? You'll nd to get the truss rod adjusted too, that's what most buzzing come from. A good tech can set up the bridge and truss rod. Pretty much what Chet had said.

Check your bass' neck and make sure that it curves away from you when you're holding your bass. If it isn't you need a truss rod adjustment. If your neck is curving in the right direction you should raise the bridge saddles until you don't have fret buzz

If it's buzzing in the 1st 3 or 4 frets you need to add some relief to the neck or loosen the truss rod, if its buzzing up high you might need a fret leveling...

Well you could try sanding down the fret it might mess up the fretbord. Thats what i did it worked for a while. Or put something on the NUT to raze the string a tiny bit i all-so did this it worked for a long time.

Dude!!! thats an extreme step to take as a first step, i'm surprised someone didn't delete this post.
I hope you're not a guitar tech...whew!!!

18244 don't pay any attention to what Qqstar suggested.

Sorry Qqstar; what you said is just wrong on so many levels.

if you dont know how to do a proper set up better take it to a pro or you could end up damaging your bass and possibly end up with an expensive repair .
