look at the gold sparkle farkle Jazz in the pic- now notice the intonation. That must be a killer bass because I have never seen saddles with such slight adjustment in them. My E saddles are all back noticeably farther. Anyone know something about that?

I just saw this on ebay yesterday. I think it looks great. Anyone know more about it than what's listed, like limited numbering, list price, etc? Is it already released? What are your thoughts?

Obviously a great bass, but when is Fender going to realize they don't have to pay artists? People will play Fender's anyway.

They also did a sherwood green Telegretscher for Bono many years ago, methinks it's time for "The Edge" to have his own signature guitars, a black '70s Strat and an ivoroid Tele with gold hardware - even he used to play a couple of Clapton Strats with Lace Sensors, one of which (an '89 Pewter) had the "snakes and skulls" sticker stamped in the body.

Our forumite sushbone had opened a thread about Edge's gear.

The signature bass part of the website is a bit odd:
- Reggie Hamilton
- Geddy Lee
- Marcus Miller
- Adam Clayton
- Jaco Pastorius.

It is a bit like Sesame Street - "one of these things is not like the others.....da da da da"

I like the color of the Adam Clayton..but the block inlays look Vegas tacky to me. I'd much rather have the mim Blacktop Jazz with the dual P pickups.

Man I can hardly wait to get this. It's late! No news from the seller.

I love all of the design features, particularly the block inlays and matching headstock. However, I lean towards vintage styles and wish he'd added the covers and tugbar. I'm very interested to hear the pickups, too.

Hmm. Delayed about a month. Instead of coming in at the end of October they say the end of November now. :|

Yep. True. It's supposed to be kind-of a Christmas present from my wife anyway. Thanks for the encouragement. 8)

Thanks! I'll post a couple pics tomorrow. I'm surprised how light it is. :D
