I would too. Imagine the AC neck in maple, with black blocks and the black PG. But still the matching headstock/signature, etc.

I think I'd like that setup.

It's ok, but, NAHHH,...... I'll just be hanging in with the Black Moto PG.

Well, at least I finally got to see it with a tort pick guard.

That's a really decent Tort PG on there too.

I gotta admit, I like the tort on the AC better than I thought I would.

Are we going to see a Tort on your AC in the near future? Yes, No, Maybe? I have a nice Tort that came off of the Am. Std. Fretless, but I like the Black PG better.

No, I'll keep it stock. I'm pretty happy with the way it looks and sounds.

I did get a string retainer and almost added it, but I was able to set my witness points etc. and fixed the buzz issue I was having.

That worked out ok then. I still have the original PG, and strings from the AC, and the Tort PG, and the Fender Flat strings from the Fretless.

That's the best thing to do with original parts.

I'm surprised they are still making that model since he went over to Warwick basses. I suppose that doesn't mean anything, though. I take it you were perusing Sam Ash or Guitar Center and spotted that hanging around?

Hi Paul, no,........ this is actually my previous AC Jazz. I swapped out the 4003W with a friend who had my AC Jazz. He wasn't using it, and liked my 4003W more than the AC Jazz. It worked out good, I like the AC Jazz better than the 4003W.
