Well this is a pretty long thread about it here, but in a nutshell, it is probably the nicest looking and sounding bass I own; though I did have a bit of trial by fire to test my dedication to it.

I was close to getting an AC today, but I reacquired a Precision.

Well, Precisions, ALL Fender Precisions have a soft spot in my heart, so… you're forgiven…

I've been thinking of talking to Spitfire about making a custom green tortoise pick guard for my AC. But it'll have to be classy.

The price tag was a lot less on the Precision too.

I almost did another AC Jazz. It was between an AC Jazz, or a USA GL Jazz. I went for the USA GL Jazz. The Main reason the USA GL won out over the AC, the AC played, and sounded so close to the Am. Std. Jazz, that I'm not parting with. The USA GL Jazz has a couple of differences from the AC, or the Am. Std. Jazz to make it worth going for. Tough decision on that one, the AC looks so great.

I'm getting worn down on the Geddy Lee, myself. It's such a nice looking bass and I've heard alot about how it sounds, but haven' tried one yet. Your white Am Std looks amazing...

Thanks, I really like the looks, and the playability of the Am. Std. Jazz. Olympic White is my favorite Fender color. The USA Geddy Lee Jazz has a nice clear low thump to it. The neck though has a quick feel to it. It almost feels like it's playing it's self. I think if you tried one, you'd like it too!

I have the Black PG on it, in place of the the White Pearloid.

Thanks, that Black PG does go nice with the Sherwood Green Metallic. I saw another player's AC with one.

That looks pretty good. 8) I'd love to see what it would look like with a tortoise shell pick guard, too.

I'd do the Black Moto, but I don't know about the Tort on it.

I'm staying with the Black PG on the AC Jazz, and the Am. Std. Fretless Jazz as well.

I would too. Imagine the AC neck in maple, with black blocks and the black PG. But still the matching headstock/signature, etc.
